Formerly of Plumpton Agricultural College and Burgess Hill, Sussex, passed away peacefully in Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge on 20 June 2023, aged 80 years. Much loved husband of Margaret, father to Sarah, David and Rachel. Beloved Grandad to Hannah, Alex, Molly, Chloe and Sophie

Lots of happy memories of John from when I was a part time and then a full time student at Plumpton in 1968 -71.
He was an inspiration to us all and helped and encouraged me on joining the college staff in 1982.
